Daily Feeding Guidelines for dogs

Feed % of your dog's ideal weight according to the age and activity of your dog.

Age

% Wildfood per day

Feeding frequency

up to 6 months

10 %

4-6 times per day

6-12 months

6-8 %

2-3 times per day

1 year and older

2-3 %

2 times per day

If your dog has high activity, take a higher percentage of body weight per day.

Experiment with the percentage, but do not exceed the maximum rate to avoid overeating and problems with being overweight.

Feed defrosted at room temperature and refrigerate unused portions. Don't use a microwave oven to defrost food.

For example:

Your dog is 10 lb, 3 years old and he has a normal activity.

Take 2,5 % of body weight.

2,5 % * 10 lb = 0,25 lb per day ( near 2 OZ).

Divide the amount by the number of feeding per day, we have 2 feedings per day.

0,25 lb per day/ 2 feedings = 0,125 lb per each feeding 2 times per day.

If your cat has high activity, take a higher percentage of body weight per day.

Experiment with the percentage, but do not exceed the maximum rate to avoid overeating and problems with being overweight.

Feed defrosted at room temperature and refrigerate unused portions. Don't use a microwave oven to defrost food.

    For example:

Your cat is 8 lb, 3 years old and he has a normal activity.

Take 4 % of body weight.

    4 % * 8 lb = 0,32 lb per day ( near 5,1 OZ).

Divide the amount by the number of feeding per day, we have 2 feedings per day.

0,32 lb per day/ 2 feedings = 0,16 lb per each feeding 2 times per day.
